Riverina

State New South Wales

The Riverina region is situated in south-western New South Wales, with Victoria forming its southern border and the Great Dividing Range as its eastern border.

Warmly referred to as “The Food Bowl”, the Riverina also grows 15% of Australia’s total grape production, making it one of Australia’s most flourishing wine regions.  It exports over 50% of it’s wine, but it is Botrytis Semillon, a distinctive wine produced in small-scale batches, that has given the region worldwide acclaim.

Local winemakers are propelling the region to greater heights for the future, concentrating on creating unique wine varieties whilst preserving its status as one of the globe’s best dessert wine regions.
