Vineyard 1

296.4 hectares of vineyard was first planted in 1970 with progressive plantings throughout the 1970’s, 80’s and 90’s.

Varietal mix is as follows:

  • Riesling - 62.0 ha
  • Shiraz - 61.5 ha
  • Chardonnay - 61.5 ha
  • Cabernet sauvignon - 32.9 ha
  • Gewurztraminer - 16.2 ha
  • Semillon - 7.7 ha
  • Sauvignon blanc - 7.2 ha
  • Merlot - 24.5 ha
  • Pinot noir - 5.3 ha
  • Malbec - 3.3 ha
  • Verdelho - 8.8 ha
  • Viognier - 5.7 ha

Significant features of the property include:

  • Three residences, site office, equipment storage and staff amenities;
  • Computerised drip irrigation via seven bores;
  • Substantial economies of scale;
  • Grape supply agreement by negotiation;
  • The vineyard surrounds a purpose built 12,000 tonne winery which is being currently offered for sale.


Vineyard 2

This vineyard consists of 11.7 hectare planted in 1994, planted as follows:

  • Shiraz - 11.7 ha
The property is contained in two certificates of title with a total area of 66.54 hectares.  The property is a short distance from the main CWAU vineyard and winery in the region.

It is a manageable size vineyard planted to the regions specialities with two road frontages.
